IRREVERANT WOMEN GREET THE WORLD The women of irreveRANT greetings gave birth to their women-oriented card line after what seemed like years. "Oh yeah, it was years!" the women exclaim, "But it was worth it!" The ideas for the greeting cards came from their first venture, MOXXY2, pronounced "mock-see squared" (moxxy2.com), a place where authentic women share ideas and speak their mind. Where one might think this is the story of irreveRANT greetings, it is more importantly, the tale of their deep friendship. Nancee explains, "Years ago, we met at one of the many meetings that we were destined to participate in at the jobs we were working at." "It didn't happen right away," said Dawn, "but soon, very soon, we began to have coffee and talk. The talk blossomed into a like and the like moved into a friendship that has grown and grown." Out of the cemented friendship the two found that they had so much in common. While talking they found that "We most especially had in common our opinions about women and our status today with regard to careers, health, spirituality, family, friends, recognition, and connectivity with one another," Dawn said. Nancee continued, "We dreamt of a world where women came together to redefine the rules and the place that they accepted as where they fit and how they were defined. In this world there would be a community of like-minded women who laughed and talked about their lives and came together through that laughter." From those ideals blossomed a card line for women by women, offering four sides of fun and as the women claim is "cheaper than therapy!"
